Fruit eating adds to an already-expanded and ever-expanding game. However, it's not always obvious what eating fruit can do, which can lead to issues down the road. All you need to know about fruit is right here.
What are the benefits of consuming fruit?
Fruit that isn't native to Animal Crossing
Fruit gives you two abilities: picking up trees and crushing rocks. It makes no difference what kind of fruit you consume, and you can store the energy of ten fruits at once. In the upper left-hand corner, you can see how much fruit is in your system. After you've eaten some fruit, a number out of ten will appear, and the number will decrease each time you use one of the abilities.
You should pick up an apple, orange, peach, pear, strawberry, or coconut from a tree with a shovel if you have an apple, orange, peach, pear, cherry, or coconut in your virtual stomach. Your villager will take the tree and place it in a new location without the need for a shovel.
You can even strike a rock with your shovel. It will crack instead of handing out money or resources like clay, stone, or iron nuggets. However, you will not receive any of the content that you will usually receive when reaching a rock, just up to eight. In the position of a broken rock, there is only one resource.
What makes you think I should eat fruit?
Picking up trees helps you to pass a tree in an inconvenient location without losing it. This will come in handy when designing the dream island layout. When I first started laying down roads, I pushed the most trees. I didn't want to lose the island's vegetation, especially if it was producing valuable foreign fruit. It's a simple fix to move it even one space over.
You may also go to a friend's island, which has a different native fruit. Take one of the trees and leave one with your native fruit. By pocketing fruit trees instead of shaking them and planting the fruit in the garden, you can avoid the three-day wait for anything to grow. This is also useful if you're collecting coconut trees on mysterious islands or if you happen to land on one of the unusual spots with exotic fruit.
When rocks get in the way, breaking them will fix the problem. When you break a rock, it respawns in a different place. Many players who want to make rock gardens use this method to switch their rocks from one location to another. If you come across a rock in an awkward place, crack it with resources or Bell bags.
Even so, keep in mind that your island can only respawn one rock each day. So, if you have more than one rock that needs to be moved, it's best to just split one of them each day. The new geodes will appear in a random location, so you will have some work ahead of you before you can achieve your desired design. However, as with most things in Animal Crossing, it takes some time before you start making money.
