2.0 update will be coming soon in Animal Crossing New Horizons with bringing some new features, 20th anniversary and some may updates. Here's everything about the upcoming ACNH 2.0 update.
Tour of May Day
May Day, which many of you guys saw last year, is an ACNH event that takes place on May 1st. During this event, players can get a May Day Ticket from acts like Nook Miles Tickets and use it at the airport to be transported to a unique island with an elaborate hedge maze, where they can meet Rover and win prizes. It's entirely possible that Nintendo would decide not to have this event this time around; they didn't have the special Nook Mile+ targets for Earth Day this time, which was odd, but it'd be much more difficult to imagine them not having an event like May Day, which introduced us to Rover and introduced us to his Briefcase. In order to bring back May Day and add some new products, features, or characters, there will have to be some kind of update in late April before May. They should change the May Day event; it'd be a nice idea if they updated it, maybe adding a new character and at the very least adding new prizes and changing up the maze, unless they either replicate it or don't add it at all.
Mother's Day is coming up soon.
Mother's Day is a holiday that falls on May 10th this year in the game; there is only a seasonal ACNH item (Thank-you Mom mug) that you can buy from the Nook Shopping page, and the player will usually receive a letter from their mother with a gift on this day. This time, they will actually include more objects. In recent updates, we've received a number of mini-events such as Shamrock Day, Lunar New Year, and Prom Season, as well as a slew of new seasonal things to collect from Nook Shopping. If we get an update, more things will most likely be added to the event in the American edition, and maybe even a message from Isabella or something along those lines, or dialogue from your villagers, which would be very cute. Either they'll replicate the content from last year, which is likely, but they'll also need to unlock it with an upgrade in some way.
Museum Day is a worldwide celebration of museums.
Blathers will hold Stamp Rallies at the museum on May 18th, 2020, as part of International Museum Day, which was first mentioned in New Horizons. Players will engage in the activity by speaking to Blathers, collecting all three of a wing's stamps, and then speaking to Blathers again to receive a completion stamp and an exclusive plaque. Many players thought the idea was great, but the execution was lacking, and the prizes were also disappointing. It would be fantastic if, in honor of International Museum Day, we could see some kind of museum update, like the return of Brewster.
Seasonal Events at the ACNH in May 2021
When it comes to the ACNH May 2021 seasonal events that might be added to the game in the ACNH 2.0 update or the ACNH May 2021 update, Nintendo loves to do these seasonal events and add plenty of different seasonal items from around the world to the Nook Shopping, which is something they've done in every recent update. If it happens in May, there are quite a few good choices for seasonal events to choose from. Another choice is Cinco de Mayo, a Mexican heritage festival that marks the date of the Mexican army's victory over France at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Children's Day is celebrated in Japan on May 5th, and they usually include a Japanese-themed object in every post. There's also World Bee Day on May 20th; maybe they'll have a bee-themed celebration; bees are a thing in Animal Crossing, especially in previous games; they've turned them into wasps in this edition, but there's still World Turtle Day on May 23. Every year on May 25, Africa Day commemorates the establishment of the Organisation of African Unity. There are so many possible things they might add for these events taking place all over the world in May; what kind of Animal Crossing items would you like to see?
